Our friend Pam Starr is such an incredible person, even her name has STARR in it! We are so fortunate to have such a smart, warm, fun, passionate and kind person be such a steadfast friend and supporter of Triangle Wine Experience and Frankie Lemmon School. We wanted you to get to know her too, so she is kicking off our “5 Questions With” campaign. Make sure you say “Hi! to Pam, and enjoy some of Crocker & Starr Winery‘s amazing wine at Triangle Wine Experience’s Grand Gala & Auction on February 2nd, 2019!
1. Beach or Mountains?
What beach or what mountains? Lakes, oceans, and rivers! For a quick, local get away in Napa we run to our local Lake Berryessa for a quick water ski boat run or boat float. Tahoe is one of my favorite places in the world. And wine is always with us on these adventures. In fact, I think sauvignon blanc for water skiing, cabernet franc at lake Tahoe, and cabernet sauvignon on the beach at sunset!
2. Favorite mantra or words to live by?
ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE…dream it, draw it, do it!
3. Biggest Influence on your life?
My Pops! Full of adventure, chased life, sought experiences, dreams big, and knows how to change course at the appropriate time.
4. How did you get involved with Frankie Lemmon?
I was asked by Didier to sit with Eliza and Brian at another wine auction (in his place as he could not attend) and discuss wines and lots (I collect wine as well and cut my teeth on old Bordeaux and burgundies). After the auction was over, Eliza and Brian kidnapped me to light the town on fire and we did just that as I barely made it back to my hotel room to grab my bags and catch my flight. Instant friendship through passion for wine, life, and love of the Frankie Lemmon babies.
