Etta Buckman & Robert Long #GivingTuesday Campaign

Frankie Lemmon School is a NAEYC accredited, 5-star child development center that welcomes children ages 2-6 with and without disabilities. Our school provides inclusive classrooms and experiences, therapies and enrichment programs, all with low student-to-teacher ratios to ensure that each child’s needs are being fully met, and offering all children a sense of belonging, and an opportunity to reach their full potential.
We strive to deliver the highest-quality early learning experiences, wraparound care, and resources to each of our children and their families. Providing this level of comprehensive education to each Frankie Lemmon student costs roughly $45,000 each year. With State and County funding providing less than 30% of the funds needed to support the school each year, we rely on generous donors like YOU to help bridge the gap.
WHY FLS?!
For me, it’s the profound impact that this school has on the day-to-day lives of our families, thereby creating a significant positive impact on our community as a whole. I believe that every person, regardless of age or ability, deserves acceptance and opportunity. This school offers both to some of the most vulnerable in our community.
I witnessed the momentous change in our littles from the start of school to the end of their first year. I have seen students start the year unable to walk and/or eat independently and end it running throughout the playground and proudly polishing off all the chicken nuggets on their plate. Accomplishments like these, made possible by the personalized instruction and therapy provided by our FLS staff and teachers, empower families and create a sense of belonging. Let’s come together in creating a community that encourages opportunity for all!
WHAT can you do?!
